Pushy Ornament!

What You’ll Need:

• Jumbo Push Pop
• Cut-Out Decorations (printable sheet in the download link below)
• Ribbon and Gold String
• Pom Poms (large and small)
• Pipe Cleaners
• Tape
• Scissors
• Hot Glue Gun
• Drill

Instructions:

1. After your child is done enjoying their delicious Push Pop, drill a hole in the top of the Push Pop cap. Be sure to drill away from yourself and keep your hands safely out of the way. Recommended drill bit size is 1/4 or 6.35 mm.
2.  Cut a short piece of ribbon (about 12” long) to use as the ornament’s hanging hoop.
3. Push both ends of the ribbon through the hole in the cap and tie the ends into a knot. You may need to tie a double knot so it doesn’t slip through the hole.
4.  Pop the cap back onto the Push Pop tube. It’s time to start decorating!
5. To make the hat, glue a large pom pom onto the top of the cap, and then wrap a piece of gold string around the bottom of it.
6. Cut out the nutcracker costume and other decorations on the printable sheet and attach to the Push Pop.
7. To make the arms, glue a pipe cleaner to the back of the Push Pop (just below the cap) and bend the two ends downward. Trim the arms to the proper length and then glue on pom pom hands.
8. Use the other decorating supplies that you’ve gathered and the cut-out decorations on the printable sheet to turn your Push Pop into a reindeer or a snowman! You can also use your imagination to make more fun ornaments!
